About Funding
Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organization under the Skagit Council on Aging and donations are tax deductible.
We receive our funding though the following resources:
Grant Funds (OAA/Title III, USDA) – 30%
COPES Medicaid – 3%
Fundraising – 14%
County and Cities – 20%
Client Contributions (donations) – 28%
United Way – 5%
We are a United Way organization.
